Submissions are invited for the 7th International Conference on Mathematical Research for Blockchain Economy (MARBLE), which will take place in Cyprus on 16-18 September 2026, co-located with the 5th EAI International Conference on Blockchain Technology and Emerging Applications (BlockTEA).
MARBLE is an international peer-reviewed conference series that aims to provide a high-profile platform for mathematicians, computer scientists and economists from both academia and industry to present latest advances and innovations in key theories and models of blockchain. While most blockchain conferences and forums are dedicated to business applications, product development or Initial Coin Offering (ICO) launches, this conference focuses mainly on the mathematics behind blockchain to bridge the gap between practice and theory.
The previous editions of the conference were held in Santorini (2019), online (2021), Vilamoura (2022), London (2023), Malaga (2024) and Athens (2025).
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Cryptoeconomics/token economics
Economic modelling of cryptocurrency systems
Game-theoretic analysis
Decentralised finance
Stablecoins
Consensus mechanism design
Distributed Applications (DApps)
Market mechanism analysis and incentive design
Analysis of mining algorithms and strategies
Price variation prediction and trading strategies
Novel indices for digital assets
Consensus protocol security analysis
Mathematical modelling of network attacks
Verification of smart contracts
Measures of blockchain health
Government policy related to blockchain economics
