Cognitive Mobility (CogMob) explores mobility as an integrated cognitive ecosystem, where AI, human decision-making and socio-technical systems interact seamlessly. It investigates how intelligent systems – from autonomous vehicles to predictive analytics – can optimize movement while addressing safety, ethics and user experience. By viewing human and artificial cognition as a unified system, CogMob focuses on adaptive interfaces, cognitive ergonomics and inclusive design, aiming to support sustainable, efficient and resilient mobility in smart cities and circular-economy frameworks.
Main Topics of CogMob2026
- Cognitive Mobility: AI-driven decision-making, human–machine interaction, behavioral modeling in transportation
- Smart Cities: Urban mobility ecosystems, data-driven infrastructure, IoT integration for sustainable transport
- Smart Logistics: Intelligent supply chains, autonomous delivery systems, predictive analytics for freight and urban logistics
- Autonomous and Connected Vehicles: Safety, ethics and cognitive load in automated driving
- Human Factors and UX in Mobility: Cognitive ergonomics, adaptive interfaces and inclusive design
- Sustainability and Policy: Circular economy in mobility, regulatory frameworks and societal impacts
