The conference of the Society for the Advancement of ICT & Comparative Knowledge (SOCTHADICK) (https://www.socthadick.org) is an annual international conference conceived to showcase contemporary development in the field of ICT and the interfaces with other fields of human endeavour. SOCTHADICK is an international intellectual cum professional association which is devoted to studies on information and communication technology (ICT) and its application in different spheres of life. This is with a view to solving peculiar challenges of mankind, especially those relating to societal disharmony, discord and instability arising from ethnic/racial, religious, socio-economic and related differences. The Society, which is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC), has the motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. The 2025 international conference of SOCTHADICK (SOCTHADICKconf’25) is coming on the heels of previous similar conferences which were held in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, and which dwelt on different themes. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘The Role of Applicable Technologies in Engendering Socio-economic Development’. Several relevant subthemes/topics are to be considered. It is a hybrid conference (physical and virtual modes) which is relevant to all areas and issues pertaining to ICT and knowledge generation, acquisition and transmission. The 2025 conference is being held in collaboration with the newly established Faculty of Computing, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
