The main goal of the First Summer School on Advances in 6G is to deepen your knowledge on 6G technologies through prestigious speakers, poster sessions where students can present their ongoing work and MDPI Scientific Publishing Exchange. The summer school will allow you to look into a variety of topics within the field of 6G, identify new research trends, meet forerunners in this research field, and network with other students, all in an unparalleled natural. If you are a PhD student or a master's student interested in research, the summer school will enable you to deepen your understanding of these topics alongside top-tier international researchers.
This summer school is organized by the INCIBE-UCM Cybersec Chair of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) in collaboration with the Information Security Programs of the ESIME Culhuacán (MISTI and ESITI) of the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (Mexico).
The First Summer School on Advances in 6G will take place from November 10th to 14th, at the CVDR-IPN, Cancun, Mexico.
Overview
Emerging Internet of Things (IoT) applications aim to bring people, data, processes, and things together, to fulfill the needs of our everyday lives. It is expected that upcoming Sixth-Generation and Beyond (6G&B) wireless networks, known as more than an extension of 4G/5G, will be the backbone of IoT and other services and will support IoT systems by expanding their coverage, reducing latency, and enhancing data rate.
Next-Generation (NextG) wireless systems will require a paradigm shift in how they are networked, organized, configured, optimized, and recovered automatically, based on their operating situations.
We invite authors to submit original contributions on all areas of NextG (6G&B) networks.
Topics of Interest
Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:
- 6G and Beyond security standardization
- 6G applications and use cases
- 6G architectures and visions
- 6G core networks
- 6G direct links
- 6G green networking and sustainability
- 6G migration strategies
- 6G physical layers and frequencies
